The poems presented in this work are the result of a selection made by the author and include both recently written poems and some older ones. This poetry arises from the need to express states of mind, fragments of life, and the desire to mark certain moments. O rapaz que não sabia enterrar tempestades is Nuno Ega's second poetry book, the pseudonym of a university professor at the University of Évora. Born in Mértola in 1964, he loves his hometown as children love the embrace of their parents. He lives in Évora. In 2017, he published his first book, A viagem do pano branco.
