Francisco Duarte Mangas is a fiction writer, poet and author of children's books. He is president of the Association of Journalists and Men of Letters of Porto (a published institution founded in 1882), where he directs the magazine Gazeta Literária.

Ana Biscaia is a graphic designer and illustrator. She studied illustration (Master of Fine Arts) in Stockholm, at the Konstfack University College of Arts, Crafts and Design. She illustrated Poesia de Luís de Camões para Todos (selection and organization by José António Gomes), an anthology that received an award from the jury of the National Illustration Prize in 2009. She received the National Illustration Prize in 2012 for the book A Cadeira que Queria Ser Sofá, by Clovis Levi.

Her work for Rui Caeiro's O Carnaval dos Animais was also selected by the jury for the TITAN Illustration in Design Award. With João Pedro Mésseder, in 2014, he published the book Que Luz Estarias a Ler? and, in 2015, Poemas do Conta-Gotas and, in 2017, Clube Mediterrâneo - twelve photograms and a devoration, a book that, in 2019, was awarded at the 12th edition of the «Image of the Book», International Book Illustration and Design Competition. In 2022, the book O retrato (aquilo que não se vê) received the BRAW Bologna Ragazzi Award - The most amazing bookshelf.
